Language Notice: These Terms of Service are provided in English. In case of any discrepancies between the English version and any translation, the English version shall prevail. 1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the MaraMind game, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the game.
2. Description of Service
MaraMind is a competitive variation of the classic MasterMind game where players race to solve a secret code. The game may be played in single-player mode or multiplayer mode over a network connection.
3. User Conduct
You agree not to use the game for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your connection.
4. Intellectual Property
All content included in the MaraMind game, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of the game creators and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
5. Privacy
When playing in multiplayer mode, your chosen player name and game statistics may be visible to other players. No personal information is collected or stored beyond what is necessary for gameplay.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The game is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The creators do not warrant that the game will be error-free or uninterrupted.
7. Limitation of Liability
The creators of MaraMind shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the game.
8. Changes to Terms
The creators reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the game after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
9. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The application of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods is excluded. For consumers, this choice of law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive the consumer of the protection afforded by provisions that cannot be derogated from by agreement by virtue of the law of the consumer's country of habitual residence.
10. Dispute Resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR) which can be accessed at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
11. Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer under German law and have entered into a contract with us, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period will expire after 14 days from the day of the conclusion of the contract. To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by an unequivocal statement. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
